Post-Installation Care in Winter

Upkeep for artificial grass is much lower than it is for maintaining natural grass. In the winter, all you need to do to maintain artificial grass is to brush the snow off of your new lawn regularly. Like we talked about above, a proper drainage system is important for keeping your artificial lawn clean and dry. If there is snow building up on the astroturf, it could create the same problems as standing water like mold or mildew growth.

Another thing to check on is how the seams are doing. Make sure there are no loose seams, and that there are no areas at all where the grass is pulling away from the base layer. If you do notice any of those things, you will need to address these issues as soon as possible.
